Student Fees and Refund Deadline Dates

Note Regarding Covid-19:

The State Chancellor’s Office confirmed that students will be allowed to withdraw from Spring 2020 through Spring 2022 classes due to the current COVID situations with an Excused Withdrawal (EW) symbol on their academic records. Students will be required to submit the Drop/Withdraw Petition in order to withdraw with an EW after the deadline to drop without a W. Beginning in Summer 2022, documentation is now required for EW-Covid petitions. No refunds will be issued with an EW symbol. Students should view their class schedule, or Schedule of Classes, for specific drop deadlines for each course. Students receiving financial aid should consult with the Financial Aid Office to understand implications to their student aid before dropping a course.

  • To be eligible for a refund/reversal of non-resident fees the deadline to submit proof of residency for the previous summer, fall and spring semesters is June 1 of each year.
  • Any student submissions for residency reclassification for prior semesters made past June 1 of each year will not be accepted.
  • Any requests for residency reclassification for terms earlier than the summer, fall and spring terms that directly precede June 1 will not be accepted.
